Neil has lived in Wapping for well over a decade and been an active and dedicated member of the community in that time, beginning with the campaign to keep Wapping station open when it was threatened with closure and standing for election in both 2006 and 2010.

He works as a barrister, specialising in crime. His notable cases include prosecuting the Olympic bottle-throwing case, when a man tried to disrupt the men’s 100m final. Away from work, Neil enjoys cinema, theatre, reading and following the mixed fortunes of Fulham FC.

Why Are You Standing?

I want to represent Wapping in order to stand up for the community I live in. I want to fight to make sure that residents get value for money and honesty in how their money is spent. I want to help tackle crime and anti-social behaviour and speak up for the community on the issues that matter, such as licensing and over-development.
